DENTALDERME KIDS
DIFFERENCES
Philosophy
Our clinic has a Pediatric Dentist who follows the philosophy of preventing the oral health of babies, children and adolescents. Prevention begins during pregnancy through care for pregnant women. At this point, a general check-up is carried out to look for any gum and/or dental infections that could easily compromise the health of the fetus.
As for children, we monitor their growth and the emergence of teeth and provide simple guidelines so that parents can avoid oral diseases on a daily basis.
Pediatric dentistry based on scientific evidence
Our team is constantly trained and updated so that parents receive the most correct and current information about prevention and treatment for their children, consolidated in clinical practice and scientific literature.
Anesthesia
It is very common for parents to worry about local anesthesia for their children, but this fear is not necessary as the procedure becomes imperceptible to the child.
But, in addition, all care with psychological aspects are taken into consideration for the success of anesthesia.
Fun at the Office
Research clearly shows us that distracting children during pediatric dental care greatly improves their behavior at the pediatric dentist.
Sedation and General Anesthesia
When a child, for various reasons, cannot undergo pediatric dentistry treatment within our clinic, we can perform the procedure under sedation or even general anesthesia within hospitals.
This procedure is particularly common for patients with special needs, young children and when parents prefer the consultation to be calmer.
How to prevent tooth decay
At any age, it may be necessary to implement other measures and/or adjust the percentage of fluoride in the toothpaste according to each child's cavity risk assessment, which is why you should consult your Dentist regularly.
